Recognized for his expressive and colorful paintings of barns and landscapes of Bucks County and beyond, Al Lachman is an accomplished painter, instructor, juror and author for the past 55 years. Honored by "Who's Who in American Art" and the Pastel Society of America, his paintings have garnered numerous awards and the attention of art collectors nationally for fine art investment.

Workshops
Mr. Lachman has conducted painting workshops internationally. He was the first American artist to be invited by The Pastel Society of Canada to conduct a private workshop for its members. In addition, he has served as a Director on the Board of Control of the Pastel Society of America. He is also one of the founders and first instructors of the P.S.A. School for Pastels Only at the National Arts Club in NYC, the only one of its kind in the United States.
